lets see

if i can do this with lynley hanging on my leg.. haha

The day after we got home from Florida, Ty left us for a WEEK for North Carolina for a work training! I was very anxious for him to be away for so long. This was the longest we've been seperated (by about 6 days) since..we got married! we used to do the weekend thing while we were dating..ty would drive here from Rexburg every weekend to see me. that was over 2 years ago..and i wasn't prepared for the week apart at all! Lets see..the first night i accidently rented 2 horror flicks, which resulted in absolutley no sleep, but some good editing time with lynley sleeping ha. the second night i made sure to put something on very light hearted that i could fall asleep to (joe dirt ha) but, woke up in the middle of the night FRIGID. i checked the temp and it was a sizzling 76 degrees in the house! i had to put a sweatshirt on i was so cold. i'm just so used to tyler's wareworlf-ish body temp!! The third day, i was planning on sitting on my couch in fetal position all day, until my sister-in-law brit came to my rescue inviting me and lynley to come and see her! So, we hopped in the car and left to Rexburg for a few days! While we were there, i took Jess's engagements, we made home-made ice-cream and ate at garcia's! It was so nice to just be with family, and have soemthing to keep me busy! On our way home we picked ty up from the airport...i can't explain the calmness that came over me just seeing him walking to our car! You don't realize how dependent you are on someone..until their gone! Lynley was so excited to see him, the whole week whenever she'd be tired or sad she'd just say "dadadada" over and over agian. So, we're happy to be all together agian! no more days on the couch moping around, with frequent crying spells hahaha pathetic, i know.

Anyways, so we both haven't been home for basically 2 weeks, and the day we got home, about 2 hrs later we packed up our car and took off for the canyon for a little camping and fishing! it was a perfect fathers day weekend! we camped, and had so much fun. when we went fishing, i was the only one to catch a afish! haah.

i'll admit is was nice to sleep in our bed agian!

And here we are, back into our routine, which feels really good actually. back to running for me, doing our laundry (which was quite the task to get a handle on) and of course my favorite thing back to the routine for lynley.

I only have a few pics, and none from the trip to Idaho, brit has those, so when she posts them, i'll be sure to steal them haha
