People.

Being here...I have met lots of people.
People here for all different reasons...
Work. Vacation. Baseball. Cancer. A wedding. Visiting family. Employees.
People. All with different stories. I've seen photos of grandchildren, I know favorite teams. I know treatment plans. New tumors. I know about different faiths. I know about struggles, joys, and hardships. I know about 2 purple hearts, & 150 lb weight loss. I know about allergies, and how they like their coffee. I know talents. And I know people from all over the world. Korea, floirda, Alaska, minnesota, Montana, Oregon, Mexico...
I have watched people cry to themselves. I have watched people laugh.
I watch, everyday, people smile and talk with lynley. They all know her name, favorite color, birthday, parents names, her living situation, and every other tidbit about her little almost four year old life. She told me yesterday "everyone gives me presents, because I'm so special!!" People have made her treats, hair bows, ribbon flowers, ler het borrow movies, bought her treats, st patricks day goodies...  I watch her light up, down trodden, heavy burdened people battling cancer. I watch her make men, alone, away from family on business trips,  laugh and shake their heads, saying "I have four!" I watch her tell off an officer fresh from Afghanistan, a purple heart awarded soldier, that it was sponge BOB, not spongelob. He laughed, and apologized... I watch her, every morning, make her rounds to each table saying on her little high pitched voice, bed head and jammies greeting "good morning!" Everyone smiles. We've even met some friends, who we will keep in touch with for years to come.
The past two and half weeks have been hard...but they have been beautiful. We have gained a peek into other peoples lives, brightend some hard days for others, bore testimony, and enjoyed just, fellow humans. We are all connected. We all have highs and lows. Trials and triumphs.
God loves us all.
I'm thankful for that. I'm thankful for my sweet daughters... And the effect that they're sweet spirits have on those around them. We were here for a reason. I know that :)
I'm also so thankful for the sweet people. Everyone has been so nice. So... Tolerant of a little girl in a pink tutu swimsuit interrupt their book, or quiet sunbathe.
I have a renewed sense that, people are mostly good. :)
