i was getting prepped for a newborn shoot this afternoon..

and little miss hopped in front of the camera.

silly portraits are her specialty, and usually all i can getout of this girl...but today, i had her laughing.

i have been lusting after her eyelashes lately...
so, long and thick, and untouched by beauty products.
sometimes..i feel like i can see straight into her through those eyes of hers.

 "say...turkey!"
"turkey..?"
"did you just call mom a turkey?!?"
this got her cracking up, over and over and over and over again.

oh how i love this little girl of ours.

she is little..but she is getting bigger.
she likes to talk about when she gets "bigger"...
the new thing is all about marrying bennett. lol.

she is excited for her birthday.
very excited.
when i ask her what she wants for her birthday the first thing is always
candles.
lol
and then she rambles off things like, "da da da dora" or "princess dress" or swingset or a cake.

she loves church, and singing church songs.
she knows all the words to i am a child of God.
and i love to hear her sing it.
she also loves abc's, twinkle twinkle, rockabyebaby, popcorn, and book of mormon stories.
she has really amazing nursery teachers..

she la la laoves her family.
and the girl has more extended family than the average 2 (almost three) year old.
cousins and uncles and aunts and a slew of grandparents.
she loves them all.
and she is very willing to adopt family at any given moment, making it her mission in life to bring in all people she comes in contact with.
and no, checkers at walmart are not excluded.

she is thoughtful.
and she is kind.
she is bossy, and independant.
she is funny.
and full of life.

we love her.
