a letter to my calllie girl on her second birthday. (and photos)

 Callie z casper! I cannot believe that you are TWO years old (in three days) we went out this morning by the river and took some pictures of you. You love to be in front of my camera, any camera actually. You always always give me your best “cheeeeeese!” I love it. Callie, I want to tell you some things about yourself.. you are an amazing person. With some really special qualities. You are so, loving. You love people, so much. You can tell when someone needs to be loved, and you know how to love them. You give the best big hugs and kisses. You have the softest, sweetest touch. Your little voice is heard around our house, non stop. And lately you are counting all the time. Starting at any random number and going til you get to 15. (mickey mouse taught you this) you babble and pretend. You love to read books. And I catch you by yourself sitting and reading every book we have, page by page. You have the sweetest laugh, it is a beautiful sound. I cant explain, cal, how much I love you. You are a piece of me, literally. And I don’t know what I did to be so lucky to get you to by my daughter. Your big sister, Lynley, adores you. And somehow gets you to play school or house or doctor or princesses with her everyday. I catch you two cuddling under a blanket watching a movie quite often. Every morning before school you two give bigggg hugs and we watch her out the big window get on the bus at go to school. You always do your darling little pout and say “no school ninny!” everyone who is around you, loves you. You make us all feel like your favorite person, and you make us all feel special and loved. You’re only 2, you are so little still, with your little chubby hands and cheeks.. but you love like you’re much older. You LOVE sausage and bacon and pretty much all meat. Also mashed potatoes. J oh callie girl, we love you. I can’t believe how fast two years has gone by…. And yet it seems like we have never been without you. you will always always be my baby girl. You are amazing, and so so so loved. Xo mom
