TRANSFORMATION!

We have been working our butts off on this house! Trying to make it feel like...a home! Let me tell you, I typically love having a project..but this one sometimes feels never ending. We've been working late into the night..& early in the morning to get the main floor DONE. And i'm excited to announce that...THE KITCHEN IS ALMOST DONE!!! :) Boy, am I lucky to have such a handy husband. We got all the floors & counter tops tiled and looking fabulous, all the cabinets totally refinished & beautiful, repainted, smelling & looking NEW!

I think that i have posted some pre-remodel photos, but for the sake of getting a good reaction from the crowd, here are some (again?)

uggghhh! I never thought i'd be able to actually cook here!
If you can see the people who lived here before us had some of the cabinets painted white..& left the rest the original brown. The counter tops were some Formica, but it was all nasty. and i don't have a pic of the floors (dangit!!!) but they were this gross brown sticky tile.

And now...for the first time, introducing...the TRANSFORMATION! (so far..!)
