There really isn't a template for the bows..i just made it up! but here's how i do it, it's so easy, and cheap, and cute.
BOWS:
first i cut a strip of fabric in a rectangle (the longer the strip, the longer the bow, the fatter the strip the bigger the bow) for a single bow, i would lay the strip out, and then fold the two ends in to meet in the middle. (hamburger style) then pleat (just squeeze them together) the middle to make two pleats & hot glue them so they stay. then i cut another little piece of fabric and hot glue it down the middle to cover the two ends. and then hot glue a little clippy on the back! easy!
** you could also use ribbon to make these bows, and you could use ribbon to wrap the middle with!
**for a double bow, you do the exact same folding, but just twice. make the outer ones bigger and the middle ones smaller, then hot glue!**
CIRCLE BOWS:
Cut a strip of fabric (the longer, the bigger. the fatter, the fatter.) and fold it in half hot dog style. (havent said that since third grd) Next, i put dots of hot glue a 2 or 3 inches at a time along the rough edge. then i pleat the fabric in a circle hot glueing as i go. (careful not to burn yourself..it's not fun.)
You can double the circle flowers on top of eachother like i did on a few, just hot glue them together. then i put a cute button in the middle with hot glue. you could use anything though..a pearl, a bead, a button wrapped in fabric..you choose!
Also, here's a few blogs that have some better tutourials on big flower headbands (which are even easier..!!) and some other fun things for babies. (one of my favorites is the jeweled onsie! I made one for lynley and it is the cutest thing ever. i'll have to post a pic haha!)
