When i say Casper Fam Style i mean it! We didn't just do christmas, we really DID IT RIGHT! We all met in Sunriver Oregon and stayed at my parents vacation home there. Sanette brought an impossibly large amount of yummy food, we had puzzles, games, hottubbing, lots and lots of Wii, & a bracketed air hockey tourny.
after the usual claiming of rooms, we all settled in like it was our own home. (thanks largley to sanette and brad bringing so much STUFF) The rest of the week played out like a classic christmas movie! (including the halarious, awkward, memorable parts) On christmas eve we went shopping at the Bend outlets & went bowling. I think tyler had the low score..(okay, tanner may have come in after him hehe) I bowled a 106 i think. Then we had a yummy dinner, opened our christmas jammies. HOW CAN I FOREGET our reinactment of the navity. HAHA! i'm not laughing at the story, don't get me wrong, i love the christmas story... perhaps sanette's home video will be the only thing to do our reinactment justice. :) Christmas morning was eventful! lots of presents, smiles, (maybe some tears...??) and memeories! I cant believe it's lyn's first christmas!!!! she's getting so big.
All in all, we had such an amaizing christmas this year. I was worried i'd be uber home sick being that this was my first christams ever away from my fam, but i have to say that i wasn't one bit. I love my new family like my own, and i really feel like a part of them :) We drove home thinking the whole time how blessed we are. We have so many great people in our lives, and that's what matters the most, right? :)
