CLAPP YOUR HANDS! ha i have had this song stuck in my head all night long! grr. stupid baby movies.
ANYWAYS.. I guess i'll fill ya in real quick on life here at the Casper house. And then i finally uploaded a bunch of videos from our Flip (which i LOVE) so i'm going to put some up. First of all. SNOW. I used to pray agianst all those crazy ppl praying for "moisture". Now.. I AM WITH YOU! haha. We have managed to secure about 5 possibly 6 snow plowing contracts! which is fabulous for our small fam of three, one hard working hubby of one, our beloved, beautiful, roaring pick up truck and plow of uno as well. :)Praying for snow and frequent visits to weather.com are whats up here!
Holly, Phil and Bruin came to utah for a couple of days last week! I got to babysit Bruin..can i just say he's adorable? Love him. Jessi and her beau came from rexburg for ONE night to see everyone and introduce us to Greg. Lynley dumped a whole glass of water on him at dinner. poor guy ha
We love our baby girl, as you may have heard on this blog. hehe. everyday is just so fun with her, she makes our lives such a joy!
One more quick thing, i gotta say...The Lord watches out for us. I have never felt him guiding us more then i do now. i just wanna share a quick story.. yesterday, our first plowing job. We throw lyn in her car seat, throw on our boots and coats and run out the door! we're so excited. we get to the lot, which is just down the road from our house, and ty starts plowing away!! He looks like a kid at christmas, he's having a ball. we get most of the way done and BAM. our plow will not raise. It just stays down.....uh....crap? So he gets out to look at it. who knows? Ty's built and rebuilt lots of motors..but this ones new to him. and we don't have all the tools a shop does..and nothings open, and we're here, and our cars are at home. So, he finishes the lot with the plow dragging the whole time. He dropped the plow in the back and we head home. I have to say, and he's gonna kill me for writing this, but watching his face was heartbreaking out there staring at our new plow, our "money maker" this winter, busted. So he immideitly gets on the phone with his Dad. They are talking a million miles a min back and forth. I'm catching about 1/3 of whats being said. ty's yellilng out websites for me to type in and follow along with Brad. Ty's running outside and back inside at full speed checking this and that. At one point..I was out in the garage with him, and we're looking for a stupid tool, we don't have the right size..so he runs to the neighbor's house.. and i just kneeled down and started praying. We NEEDED this plow to work. I knew that we were supposed to buy it, i knew that he was supposed to quit his job. I knew that this is what we were supposed to do. and right now, I needed ty's mind to be sharp, for him to trust his gut about what is wrong, and i needed this to all happen in a very short amount of time. I needed a miracle. He came back with the tools, he fiddled with it a little more...He talked to some Tech guys from Meyer snow plows and they were telling him something..but he just didn't think they were right. He put it back together..thingking that we'll run up to SLC and get a few parts and go from there. So, i go in the cab to test it one more time I pushed the plow up. and it went up. and it stayed up. it was WORKING!! We couldn't believe it. We went back, hooked to plow back up and finished the rest of our jobs.
that was a little longer then i thought it would be. sorry. here's the promised videos..that im sure only grandparents will appreciate :) sorry they're kinda random :)
