This morning...lynley was laying on the ground, and a large, metal step ladder fell on her head! I saw it happen, and i swear the ladder fell in slow motion..and then bouced off her head. It instantly gashed her left eyebrow wide open. I am thankful my mom, wade, jordan calloway and austin and of course tyler all were there. if i was there alone, i think i would've gone into shock. I was bawling, she was screaming..and blood was everywhere. isn't wasn't even a question that she needed stitches. at 9 months!!! dang it. so, after Tyler and Wade gave her a very sweet blessing, we booked it over to the ER to get her fixed up. can you believe my camera was DEAD? so we charged the battery in the er and snapped a photo after she was all stitched up and drugged! the drugs were supposed to make her drowsy...instead she was wired! she was laughing, talking, and yelling as loud as she could, just to hear her own voice! Anywys, her owee is the exact shape of harry potters lightning bolt, so i guess that's kinda cool. She ended up with 5 stitches, the doc did a really good job, so we thnk that scarring will be small. We took our pulses while we were waiting and ty's were in the high 80s (normal) and mine was in the 100's! I was so scared for my baby! it's the worst thing to see her hurting, and bleeding, and just having to wait and see what the doc will say. naturally i want to make everything all bettter! Anyways, she's sound asleep now, and she's doing great. PLUS she has a whole new wordrobe from grandpa wade...(who accidently knocked the ladder down, and feels so bad! So, he went to baby gap and spoiled her rotten)
I'm so greatful for my husband. He's such a rock. I know that he is there for us girls no matter what. I don't know where i'd be without him in my life. as much as i want to kill him sometimes...i really REALLY love that boy.
