My babies officially one. a year ago today, i gave birth to the best, cutest, sweetest, thing ever. A little tiny..pink..soft..baby girl. my daughter. I am just so in love with this girl. i fall more and more in love with her everyday. I cannot believe my luck, i get to wake up to her smiling face everday, eat breakfast with her, fold laundry with her, pull everything out of the cupboards with her, put everthing back with her, play in the sun with her, say bedtime prayers with her, kiss her goodnight, and tuck her into bed, and wish her good dreams....then start that over agian the next morning.
I honestly have NO idea what i or tyler did to deserve lynley ann casper, but boy am i a thankful mama today, and everyday.
Tomorrow i take her in to the doc to get all her measurments and finish up some shots, and see how much my baby has grown in the last 12 months.
It's a bitter/sweet day for me as a mommy. If my best friend whispered in my ear as we graduated 2 years ago and told me that i'd be here on april 26th 2010, with a beatuiful one year old daughter, and an amazing husband, i would never have believed her. never.
and yet, here I am.
I'm a lucky, blessed girl.
