We love conference weekend here at our house. It's like heaven for me! I get to cook, have absolutley nothing on the agenda but eat, cuddle, and be totally spiritually uplifted by our prophets and other church leaders. This year was better then I expected it would be! It was really the first time i've ever watched it, with a new perspective..i'm a mom now. So, naturally I have a very different listening now then I ever have had. I loved all the great advice on parenting in these crazy times. It gives me hope, that through the Lord I will be able to raise our children up right, dispite all the evil being thrown in their lap.
Anyways, on a lighter note, on saturday in between sessions we went to the park and pushed lyn in the swing..which she obviously LOVED. And then on Easter morning, we woke up to 3+ inches of snow on the ground! grrr. you can imagine how mad that made mom when all i wanted to do was dress lynley lou up in a cute easter dress...hmf. we settled for jammies and some snow gear while we made some fun out of the snow, and built a snow "bunny". cute cute.
wellp, that's our weekend. I can't wait for many many more Conference Weekends in our home! :) xoxo
