quick-y

today we're moving in. well, we're planning on it at least. Luckily we're not pressed for time moving out..the new renters arent planning on moving in until friday. but our new house is just calling my name. Carpet is being installed as i type! yay! SO, we closed on Tuesday. that night after ty was done with school, i dropped lyn off at my mom's and we headed out to the house. we were there til way after mid night stripping the whole house down & taping off. The next night, same deal. lynley basically lived at my mom's the whole past week. We couldn't have done this without her help. I missed my baby sooo much, but sometimes you have to do what you gotta do iguess. so, anyways, we just worked and worked and worked and worked all night, everynight. On saturday night we knew we HAD to finish. that meant taping off ceilings at 2am...spraying the rest of the house until well after 3am. to say we were tired...ahaha it's so much of an understatement that it makes me laugh :) Yesterday i went out there all day getting the house prepped for carpet. which means..a broken back from the shop-vac, fingers bleeding from bleach, and dead tired. BUT, it's done! and it's beautiful. it was all worth it.

OH it wouldn't be a casper project without ty getting some injury. He jumped off a ladder and landed on a 1/4inch toilet bolt. he was only wearing crocs, so it went through his shoe and into his foot. He's still limping. it's really sore, and bruised, and there's a distinct 1/4 inch hole. we're keeping an eye on it...i hope it doesn't get infected.

anyways, i should get back to packing/cleaning...will this ever end?!? the only thing keeping me going is knowing that this will be the last time i do this for a few years, and that thought is a glorious thing i tell ya :)
