reeeeally quick:

-our lynley loves the beach. every morning from her closet i hear..."mom, where dad?" (up note on dad) and in reply i say "oh shoot lyn! dad's at work." then her response is quick: "mom! beach!?" and i happily reply "yes ma'am!"

-our lynley has learned the trick to eating marshmellow mateys. duh. only eat the marshmellows and feed the other crap to the ducks.

-our lynley has made it her absolute duty and lot in life to befriend every and any human that comes within 4-6 feet of her whereabouts. large or small. luckily the people here are ncie, and not skethcy. i gots a keep a good eye on that one though.

-after our nail painting sesh last evening she is constantly catching a glimpse of those turqiouse nails and saying "ohhhh soooo pretttyy" all drawn out and dramatic like. i love it.

-our lnyley has discovered the relaxation of a hottub after a freezing pool. she exclaims "ohhh sooo goooddd!" it's halarious. this new expression of hers "so..." insert good, or pretty, or cold, or hot, or fun.

-our lynley pretty much successfully sat through 7 whole innings of her first major league baseball game. the san diego padres vs the pirates (i believe) the weather was perfect. like the most perfectest of perfection.

-our collective favorite beachtime passtime is throwing shells (she calls them hats. i have no idea why..but she has to try to put them on like hats too. it's pretty funny) back into the ocean. she picks on she likes, and you think she's gonna be all cute and keep it, make a shell collection, and then instead she does a 180 and hucks it ino the ocean squealing "go home!" haha (she was all confused like about the shells and i told her they came from the ocean..guess she put everything together, and now sends those lucky shells home)

-our lynley also never wants to leave. for, when we leave to eat dinner and return to our litte bungalow she repeats over and over again until our ears bleeed "home mom! home dad! home home home"

-lynley got her first tatoo as well. ha! of course a sd padres tat on her cheek! she lovvvaded it.

we're having a glorious time here in san diego. and i'm lookin, and i'm seeing another day of blue blue skies, and soft soft sand, and comfy comfy chairs, and freezing cold ocean that only our toes shall enter, and lots of us. and lots of love. and lots of hugs. and lots of laughing.
