i gotta say: running this relay with tyler was the funnest thing we've ever done. (i haven't confrimed that statement with him..but he's not here to argue..so..ha!)
but really. there is something crazy awesome about being on a literal team with your best friend, cheering them on from the sidelines, giving them water when they think they're going to die from heat exhuastion, laughing, high fiving (HIGH KICKS..of course. you knew that was coming), cat calling, bum slapping, chest bumping...i mean the works. it was super cool.
and then we walked away hand in hand sporting our medals & hoodies & running shirts.
marriage can be tough. and it's not all smiles & roses. am i right?
but i loved this. it just solidified our bond and relationship..and let us focus on US and everything else just didn't matter for the day.
fun stuff. i hope we do another one someday! (ha...maybe if tyler gets amnesia and can't remember how hard the running was...?)
