this year at priest lake we got to spend a few extra days! it was a great week with lots of family time. everyone was able to make it again this year! that's pretty amazing considering all the jobs, school, and just life in general that we all have going on. it's special that everyone makes such a huge effort to make it up every year. and of course that brad and sanette provide such a great opportunity for all of the kids and grandkids to spend time together on the best lake! this may be the last year with this cabin, because it is getting knocked down and rebuilt this year. so i think we all soaked it in even more then usual!
the kids played hard, all day, everyday. one day they "cleaned the dock" for literally 2.5 hours! it was hilarious. they had a blast. lots of sand time, and swimming time jumping off the dock. many walks to the store for goodies. we painted sunsets and rocks at robins cabin. there was a big storm on Saturday night that knocked our power out for about 12 hours. bath time in buckets. camp fires. lots of beach volleyball. the water was so warm! and the weather was perfect!
anyways, here's the pictures that i have from my camera. i'll do a follow up post with the photos from our phones collectively. (not including mine. i had my phone off the entire week! it was so freeing!)
