she was SO excited to go to school this year. she really wanted to see her friends and i quote "not have to work at the house anymore" ha ha.
her teacher is mrs doorman. and this year has been so great so far! such an answer to prayers for me. last year was rocky. and so far.. none of those issues have even been talked about, so happy!
her bus ride is significantly shorter!!! what a difference that makes in her days.
her teacher is very nice, and just normal. she doesn't baby the kids, but she doesn't take them too seriously either. i feel like she gets what it is to be 6. that if a kid accidentally forgets their homework.. a realistic punishment is needed. (they read it once, and still get some recess.. i am very PRO RECESS.) haha
and! homework isn't a nightly battle yet! yay.
she is such a good girl. she is trying hard to be KIND. and to follow instructions. she invited a few friends to her primary activity, and one even came! i am inspired by her willingness to share, and not be afraid to be turned down.
callie misses her SO much every day. watches her get on tthe bus "bye nin, by ninny, i love you" and i'ts a celebration every day she gets home.
i am very excited for what this school year will bring for little miss lynely girl. she is such a great exacmple for her sisters and friends, and i am proud to be her mama. :)
