it went down like this:
friday: tyler&jazz-- apparently during a commercial, a bigger lady got on camera! to everyones surprise, decided it was the perfect time to "flash" the whole arena... so that was a funny story.
me and mom went to my favorite mexican resturaunt around la hacineda. we decided that whenever we say something about someone, it happens to us. there was this guy with a guitar singing mexi music around the place, and i said something like, "man look at that couple, trying to not be awkward with this guy singing in their faces while they try to enjoy their chips and salsa..." low and behold, the guy somehow made it over to our corner...
anyways, then we did a little shopping, and got locked IN the mall. i was ticked. we were at the opposite end of the mall that we parked at, and we waited like 15 min for someone to ring us up..and then they lock us into the department store....uh....yeah.so we had to walk outside to our car. i was mad.
then sunday: well my pics are backwards..so the story starts sat. night, when lynley throws up and has some other issues with her bowls..and so me and her skip out on church. dad had meetings pretty much all day.
BUT he managed to bake homemade cinamon rolls with cream cheese PINK frosting. and they were delicious. i take not a single ounce of credit for those amazing dough balls with sugar!
lyn wanted to help!

saturday night: my dad put together this great ward party for his ward with LIVE MUSIC!
my dad is an amazing drummer, and i have never seen him play live.! eveer!
so this was reallllly cool.
they played 14 songs, and it was fun, because i knew alot of people in his ward. they sang songs from the 50's 60's 70's and 80's.
i have always thought my dad was super cool, because he was all rock'n'roll and drummer..and i mean, how many dads jam out on the drums?!
in my verrrry first journal i wwrote, "i have so many talents, my teacher at church says i have a beautiful voice (haha) but my dad says i have talent for the drums, so i don't know which one i'm more greatful for.."
haha 1. i was quite conceeded as a 7 year old. and 2. i thought the drums were just bad A.
number one, luckily has changed, number 2 hasn't at all.
anyways, on the way to get lyn confessed to tyler that it was one of my top five favorite memories of my dad. one that i'll love forever.
ROCK ON DAD!

anyways, it was a good weekend.
+kellen calaway stayed with us, so we got some good laughs in.
OH MY; NOT TO MENTIONS tyler finally fixed the "shelves/nightstands" that i built myself...
i had to get on lyn everyday not to touch them..because they were near collapsing at any slight movement. haha thank you mr. casper. but, they lasted longer then you ever thought they would! don't deny it!
:)

Ugh, I've been locked in a department store too and it was the worst! Also, some waiter serenaded me on my birthday at Macaroni Grill a couple years ago... SO awkward.
