day to day.

when you're vacationing for 2 weeks straight..you realize how nice day to day life can be.
usually after coming home, i kind of crash. i miss tyler like crazy all day long.
i miss the action and the go-go-go all the time.
i sit and stare at my walls thinking, we must DO something!

this time though..it was different.
i missed my day to day.
i missed my alone time with lynley, and cooking dinners that we like, even if they don't make sense.
i missed watching movies in bed.
i missed my bed all together actually.
i missed showering and shaving wth no goosebumps because imake a steam room out of our bathroom, and tyler gets mad at me for doing it.
i missed our front porch swing in the evenings while tyler mows the lawn.
i missed my laundry room.
i missed my treadmill, in a weird sort of way.
i missed our quiet, peaceful, normal days.

we have vacationed the crap out of this summer.
i don't know many 3 year olds who do so much in one summer.

even though we're done vacationing, this summer is not over! i don't really end summers until i have to, which usually ends up being right around halloween. lol

looking forward to a few more summer nights, sweet corn, bbq's, swimming, mountain bikes, outside runs, and at least one last good tan.


ps: lynley came into my room last night after mowing the lawn with tyler and said, "mom! what the heck are you doing?!" i about died of laughter.
stop getting so big lynley. it's not allowed!
