it's the annual PRIEST LAKE/WASHINGTON trip post! yay!
me and lynley were vacationing for 2 weeks this year! and it was a pretty packed two weeks..& here's the proof: (not in order, because that woudnt be possible lol)
two seconds after arriving to the cabin, the kids were already getting they're play on.
road trippin' it to Washington.
picking dad up from the airport. (he had to fly home inbetween the wedding and the lake)
mid week the first week, me and Gavin road tripped it to Tacoma to see our dad. we played tennis at this highschool on the sound downtown. it was a howarts look alike, and the most amazing highschool i've ever seen.
eating out at a fancy place for lunch.

back in the tricities, or should i say basin city. farms as far as you can see.

these two girls love that boy a lot.
the kids played in the sand for hours and hours everyday. building sand castles and hunting for buried treasure, and swimming, and making gardens, and building farms, and rolling in the sand (well, only lynley was rolling in the sand lol)

the kids tube ride! this year they loved it. well, crew was a bit scared, but lynley and bruin loved it. lyn kept yelling at jacob "jacob! go faster!" lol
being very proud of herself once off, "woohoo! i did it!" i think is what she was cheering.
her spot on the boat. she thought she was like the little mermaid or something hah! and those buns.. so funny.
this year was the year of the wake surf. i think everyone tried it, inlcuding me, and everyone made a decent go at it! (i even got up!) here's tyler getting the hang of it.
it was a great year at the lake, as always.
i hope that we can keep making the trip up there every summer, lynley had the time of her life the whole week. and it was so nice to have some family time, away from all the pressures that are at home. no tv. to internet. no work. no anything, but family. and i love that the most about the annual priest lake trip.
plus, throw in some water and sunshine, and you just cant go wrong!
