i love this this picture SO MUCH.
lynley is such a special girl. i've always known it. she is smart. and funny. and she really likes people. she is a natural leader. and she is very aware of herself. lately she has been struggling a little bit with all the change that has happened in the last few months.. she takes her role as big sister in this family very seriously. her biggest thing that she was sad about starting kinder, was leaving me home alone with the babies and not being here to help me. (yeah, i cried when she said it!) not only did she start full day kindergarten, but we had a baby! and its interesting to watch her process jake on top of it. also, we said goodbye to great grandma casper. she is learning to handle mean older kids, or having to raise her hand, she is having to do homework, she is learning to read! she is learning about death, and sickness. she is learning all sorts of things about relationships, and life. tyler and i worry about failing her. we see the greatness inside of this tiny little girl.. and just hope and pray that we can do her justice. that we can help and nurture her to become all that i know she is going to become. public schooling does and will always scare me. and i'm experiencing for the first time little tiny heart aches along with her. little hard kindergartner things, and man, being a mom is hard! i just want to do it all for her. haha but, i know that she is more than capable. and i coudn't be more proud of who she is.
