on saturday night, my sister-in-law Brittney went into the hospital to have her baby. me and her husband tyler were with her as she went on the journey of bringing another human into this world. it really is a journey, you know? i really want to start doing Birth Photography...so brittney and tyler agreed to let me shoot their birth. (my first one) and i have to say that my sister-in-law is more woman than i will ever be.
i just want to get this out before i forget. well...acutally i dont think i can ever forget.
watching her be so amazingly tough through all the things that having a baby brings like...messed up IV's...the epidural...the waiting, and waiting...the toe curling contractions...the uncomfortable hospital beds...the anitcipation...the vomitting (for her)...the beeping machines....then the pushing ( i have never expirienced so much physical strength than her pushing)...the more pushing...the disappointment...the joy...the drugs....meeting your baby for the first time...having your family of three together for the first time...the skin to skin...the stitches...latching on....exhaustion...love...tears...joy...
she didn't have the easiest go at welcoming her new baby boy. it was hard. and i think it really brought her to her breaking point...but then she'd grit her teeth and give it her all agian, and agian, and agian.
her Kaiden is beautiful. she is beautiful. the whole thing was so so beautiful. from start to finish.
i'm so greatful that tyler and brittney let me be apart of such an amazing day for them. us women...we're pretty strong huh?
especially brittney. i'm serious. :)
