rainbows. silence. strangers no more.

i woke up in silence. made a lunch in silence. got back in bed in silence. and stayed in silence until the babes finalllly awoke.

and then i got ambitious. i made a practice cake for the little munchkin loveydove's birthday. (TUESDAY) she's going to be two. TWO. yes you heard me right. no i didn't stutter.

this ambition has taken over the morning. which, hey i think is a good thing. because when i am in silence, that is just my mouth choosing not to speak, (don't want any naughty words coming out) but my brain is happily chatting away, so focusing on something as cheerful & bright as a RAINBOW CAKE. i mean come on, what could go wrong?!

{update: nothing DID go wrong. in went all right. right into our tummies. ha..now to get my bu-tt on the treadmill.....}

yesterday was the 30 strangers meet and photograph with Justin Hackworth.

it was a pretty dang cool expirience for us, to say the least. before hand i gave my mom a loving warning that went soemthing like, "okay...what should we tell? what should we leave out?" and we then went through what is our story and edited...and revised haha.

then justin put his lens in our faces. (i mean all up in our grill) and somehow, all out revisions and edits flew out the window like a trapped bird dying for fresh air.

i am so used to seeing others through a lens. not used to letting someone else seeing me through the lens. ive always been a believer that you cant lie to the lens of a camera. and as the shutter clicks away, it is going to capture the truth, forever and ever. so..having justin put that camera to my face, and to my mothers face, and then to my baby's face, was amazing & raw & beautiful. all jumbled into one giant one hour long expirience.

confused?

i have decided not to re-read and re-write that paragraph. && just go with it.

oh and it made my lips shake. and it made my mom giggle like a little girl. we're cute.

i'll link it up when justin fixes his computer & catches UP!! (hurry up mr hackworth :)
