onward, pressing.

so. how was your weekend? mine/ours was awesome. i don't use the word awesome lightly, by the way. when i say somethings awesome. it is a big deal. so, our weekend was awesome. well, of course when we get to be spititually uplifted listening to 8-10 hours of the Apostles & our great prophet counsel us and encourage us and at times rebuke us, how could it not be awesome? Conference did everything that i always dream it will. it kicked my butt into gear, it gave me chills, it brought tears to my eyes, it made me shake my head in agreement, it reminded me of my Savior, it educated me, it gave me eternal perspective, it reminded me to appreciate all that i have been blessed with. especially the two loves that i get to call my forever family. i took pages of notes. and my goal is to go through those notes & impressions while i re-read the talks in the Ensign. (didnt you love the info on the word Ensign?..was is Elder Holland?) I heard that priesthood session was amazing/awesome as well. i'm excited to read those talks. i love our men. they are up agianst a lot i think, and we need to give them more credit. i especially love my man. he's a good one i tell ya. we had family in town too! bonus.! here are some photographs of the group. we're a handsom bunch i know :) hmm...take one?
