daddy-o

today is my padre's birthday. 46. so..that means he became a dad for the first time 25 years ago.

my dad is a good man. a great one in fact. the thing that i have always known about my dad is that he loved us kiddos more than anything. that he'd do anything for us. no matter what.

one time, when i was struggling, my dad offered some fatherly love/advice. he pointed me to this song. my dad is a music guy (drummer) and it was his way of communicating to me. & as a teenager, it worked for me. i still love this song & it makes me happy.

my dad is pretty cool guy. he is so funny. so funny! & his laugh cracks me up.

my dad is the most easy going person you'll ever meet. he's the kind of guy that is so forgiving & giving & loving that it's so nice to be around him.
