march 25th. its my moms brithday this rainy/snowy day. yes siree. she's turning 43. is it rude to advertise a persons age on the internet? and then put pictures up of them? haha guess thats one of the many privelages of being the daughter...right? they still have to love you.
my mom is a really cool person. look at her! she's a grandma & a mom to two little childrens. i mean who does that?! she does. (yes bennett refused to wear clothing. and yes my mom is black. and yes i love this picture.)
she is also really funny. anyone who is anyone will tell you that she is just infectious to be around. wait, i don't mean she is like sick or spreading diseases, i mean that her positive-ness & fun-ness & natural talent to make a party out of nothing is infectious. maybe infectious is just the wrong word (and i'm pretty sure it's spelled wrong too...)
sometimes she does crazy things..like think she is going to attepmt to get another dog. or...buy another kitchen table... but it's those crazy things that make us love her, right?

this lady is one of my favorite people to be around. she's my mom. and i feel lucky to have been birthed by her. we have this crazy mother-daughter relationship that nothing can come inbetween. and i'm grateful for that. i mean we have the kind of bond that leads us to pee our pants trying on temple dresses...while i'm 9months pregnant and she's chasing a terrible 2's year old out the dressing room. the kind of love that finds us swearing and sweating sewing mittens...lots and lots of mittens (that won't fit any human hand, or thumb) we have the one of a kind understanding that will stop eachother from grabbing the candy, and point eachother in the direction of the raw almonds...and we do have the kind of relationship where we gotz eachotherz backs, yo.
so here's to 43, and looking good! grandma & mama. we love you.
in the words of your grandbaby bean: "happy happy day to toooooo!"
